The Ferrari SF90 that he won the Belgian GP and the 2019 Italian Grand Prix from pole position has been presented to the Monegasque driver. It was his second career GP win and Ferrari’s first home triumph since Fernando Alonso triumphed at Monza in 2010.

The SF90, in which Charles Leclerc won his first two races in Formula One, will be back in action at Imola on Friday, with the Italian team’s first of two home races this season. The 23-year-old posted the images on Instagram of the SF90’s arrival at his home, dispatched from his team in the three-week break in races at the start of the new season.

Leclerc made a great start for Ferrari in 2019 with the SF90. At the first try, Leclerc outscored four-time world champion Sebastian Vettel across the season, claiming seven pole positions and winning on successive weekends at Spa and Monza, Ferrari’s home event. Ferrari has found the road much difficult since 2019, with no victories since three overall that year, but early signs of progress with their current vehicle. In the season-opening race in Bahrain two weeks ago, Leclerc qualified fourth and finished sixth, while Sainz finished ninth.
